31 Days, 31 Drawings

This year I’m participating in my first Inktober!

Inktober was created by Jake Parker and is participated in by artists all over the world. It’s simple: Complete 31 drawings in 31 days, one for every prompt on the list. I love seeing what other artists are producing and how they interpret each prompt! Full prompt list is above, but you can find further details at Inktober.com. 

You can find details of all my Inktober drawings so far on my Instagram account @joefearillustration. It’s been more challenging than I anticipated finding the time to draw a design that I’m happy to share each day, but I’ve haven’t produced so much quality work in such a short period of time since doing my comic piece for the Barbican exhibition I participated -  I guess I just need a deadline for that added motivation! I’m finding it thought provoking and definitely helpful in terms of idea-generation. To sustain my practice and because I want to preserve the integrity of the experimental spirit the designs were created in, I’m keeping them all as originals. I’ve sold a couple already, but all of them are up for sale through my Instagram- DM to purchase and I will arrange. I’ll post again when the challenge is completed - fingers crossed I make all 31 days!
